TWELVE TABLES | ONE PHILOSOPHY
Let Nature Lead
My role as an artisan is not to dominate the wood, but to listen. This is what it whispered.
“What if I started with the curve — and followed nature’s lead?”
URBAN RECLAIMED WOOD
For our daughter’s wedding, I made live-edge charcuterie boards out of urban reclaimed walnut from Great Falls, MT to ground their wedding tablescapes with natural warmth.
REPURPOSED YET AGAIN
Afterward, we were surrounded by beautiful serving boards — each with its own movement and character. I asked myself: What If? Instead of cutting off the curves, what if I started with the them — and followed nature’s lead?
A TABLE COLLECTION WAS BORN
What if I transformed this wood into something entirely different — yet again? A cohesive unit, complimentary pairings, yet each piece stands alone. And, incorporated locally curated crystals?
Constraint is where creativity sharpens. That’s intentional design.
